That's a shame about the "inside the house" thing. The idea of shooting an intruder is to prevent harm or loss of property.

I wonder if the lawmakers ever thought about the amount of damage a gallon or two of blood can do to carpet and the subfloor? If you shoot 'em inside the house, you can't move the body because you're "tampering with evidence." Best lure the bad guy to someplace with a tile floor.
