Take those antibiotics! Be glad you're not hospitalized. I am happy for you.

Now... here is something for an idea. I have an acquaintance whose marriage is quite rocky though looks like things could be turning for the better right now... when she was so down, she just went out and helped at some of the nursing homes.

Or...

Take about ten ten dollar bills and go out and give people unexpected money... (Not pretty young girls ;)- you'll get in trouble.)

Or...

I bet you could think of a dozen good things to do that will take your mind off this time of being 'alone'.

I was always the so-called 'first' to 'spoil Christmas' with an argument with my sister when we were children. I've finally grown out of that... it hung over my head for many years...the idea that I 'spoiled Christmas' - don't let this time of year be a downer for you. Look at all you've done for kids... go out and find someone that if only for a moment you can bring home a happy memory of making someone else smile, or look incredibly surprised.

Smiles,
f

<<Ya know what the real bummer is? I'm on another 3 months of antibiotics for my jaw!>>

Real bummer is a friend of mine broke his ankle over a year ago. When they took the screws out the bone got infected. He still has several trips to Chicago for operations ahead.
