My point is just that right this minute the amount of food in storage per person is lower than it has ever been since statistics became available. "Just-in-time" inventory practices may be good for automobile production, but does not seem a good idea for food.

Another fact, that I do not tire of posting, is that to make enough ethanol to fill the tank just once for an SUV, you have to use enough corn to feed a human being for a whole year.
