The major problem with the global warming issue is that there is No solution. If it is happening then it is going to happen. It is that simple. This is particularly true when you hear the alarmists talk about the tipping point being near.

Consider the reality of today. The third world is economically exploding. China is adding a coal fired power plant a week.

Now, if we are going to begin to slow the growth of emissions we must do a lot of things - primarily the implementation of nuclear power. Of course that is equally repugnant to GW alarmists.

All the wind mills and solar panels will do is make pretty pictures around the edge of the energy supply issue.

The bottom line is the alarmists cannot - and dare not - provide a scenario that accomplishes their stated goals.

GW needs to be an issue in the upcoming election. This can be a winning issue for Republicans. They need to make the dem candidate explain the costs of Kyoto!
