Ocean ice melting, like the ice shelves at the poles, don't contribute to ocean level rise. They are already floating, like an ice cube in a drink, and already displace their mass in the ocean. Ocean ice will melt first, as the sea currents beneath it warm and melt it.

It's the ice sitting on the land that will contribute to sea levels rising. This will be the last to melt.
