but you understand dont you Mike? Most big government initiatives turn into boondoggles. Where the profit motive is in play and prices are high, good things happen. Before the high prices force us to look at this problem, the only answer was listening to druggies like Wharf (g) for a solution. Yeah i know there were folks who identified the problem early but their solutions are not necessarily the ones being pushed now. And what if the other forces were pushing in a cooling direction---then we would praising hydroarbons, not condemning them. Its just not as simple as the greens or the nadines make it out. But it is clear that we need to do something about it now by incenting folks not trying to scare the hell out of them. (I am not the expert here and in this case i am just the averae joe trying to figure it out).

This is complete non sense. It is the least amongst us who will be hurt the most. Rich people will be rich either way. Decreased economic activity hurts those on the bottom of the ladder most. The looney left is so twisted with hate of people with money they cannot see whose foot they are shooting!
