Both you and the journal are right. Most pal christians blame the israelis for their plight. If only the jews hadnt come to israel in the first place things would have been fine. Thats a very naive view but its one i believe is the view of the eastern orthodox churches as well. To believe that, you have to avoid noticing how the Egyptian Copts, Lebanese Maronites, Syrian and Iraqi Christians have been faring for the last 50 years and more. Did the lousy Jews mess up relations there too?
