We have two dogs travelling with us. As a result its really a pain getting a motel, taking care of the animals (we put them in crates when we leave the room) etc. So, actually I dont want to spend more time then absolutely necessary in the trip. Its 2,000 miles, will probably only spend one night on the road, plus we have a WALK THRU of our new home scheduled for 1/5 and we cant leave here till 1/2 due to my wifes need to work one day in January to complete 28 years at her current hospital, completing the final year adds to her benefits. If she's one day short she doesnt get credit for the entire year. Luckily we have a Jeep Commander, Hemi Powered and that is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven on a long trip. jdn
