Chas, The economy is very diverse. There are winners and loosers daily. At the current time it is impossible to hire the engineering help being demanded by the market. The investment requiring the engineering input is real and large. Perhaps there are some loosers - but there are a lot of winners - just as always!

Who exactly are the "poor people who are loosing their jobs every day...???" Give us a few examples of who and where these people are....

While you are doing that, could you please give us the companies where the people lost their job, and what the jobs were that the people lost?
