The pols will explain why we need a flat and a progressive tax. Just like when Reagan cut the rates and eliminated deductions. Now the rates have returned and the deductions are gone forever.

Like the Ross IRA, my accountant asked if I wanted to switch from my regular. I said do you trust that the pols won't start taxing the Ross. I said I'll take my tax break now. He said good point you can't NEVER trust the pols

What has sold me on the flat tax, besides being simple is its been so successful in those countries that instituted it. If it can be proven that America's economy would benefit similarly seems to me its foolish not to do it. jdn
