To me, "the rich" have come to be defined as anyone with an income. When politicians discuss raising taxes, it's always raising tax rates on income. Politicians never raise taxes on themselves or who they view as their largest voting blocks.

I'm for returning to a vote being valued based upon the land you own, or the number of employees you have. If you're broke or living on the govt dole, you can't vote.
