India and China are not similar. They both have a billion people [rounding error of 300 million or so] and are in Asia, sharing a border in parts [especially now that China has conquered Tibet and expanded their empire]. But that's not not much of a comparison.

If China also conquers India, that would make them more similar.

India is Hindu, Islamic, a LOT hotter and democratic = voting itself poor. China is atheistic, totalitarian and cooler.

India has an average IQ of only 81 and a smart fraction of only 5.07% and theoretical GDP per capita of only $3,037 lagriffedulion.f2s.com

Griffe doesn't give data for China, but I guess average IQ would be in the mid 90s and maybe nearer 100, and the smart fraction would be nearer 25% and theoretical GDP per capita of more like $15,000.

China has made major political changes so capital isn't confiscated and repressed so enthusiastically.

India has a large English language capacity [thank you Queen Victoria and co] which is very useful for getting money from foreigners and local yokels. China struggles with English [American].
