That was 2004 and they rested the team and it hurt them. Another issue with that team is they lacked defense. Favre has had a great year - he was NEVER washed up like people thought in years past. What he didn't have that he has now is a defense that could keep him in games. We had to score 35 points to win and many times we had to come from behind - he had to be a "chucker". Now, he's got better receivers and a DEFENSE! Defense wins championships for many reason not the least of which is it takes some burden of the QB and the offense. All that said - gotta keep the rhythm going into the playoffs! Rhythm matters when it comes to QB's and WR's.
