Steve,

In past years, the emphasis for this contest has been on helping a worthwhile charity.

Latitude has been given for the date by which entries must be submitted as well as whether or not each entry must be 100% biotech.

So the more you deviate from pure biotech the larger your pledge should be. <G> e.g. IF you were to pledge more than $10,000, I suspect many participants would let you pick an all financials portfolio as long as the companies selected, fund at least one biotech.

Hope all have had a merry Christmas and wish all the very best for 2008.

Ian

Steve,
As for SQNM and TWTI, if you check the Yahoo data profile you will find both of these companies listed as being in the biotech industry. Even though SDIX isn't listed as a biotech, when you read their profile it sure seems that they are.

I know this issue came up last year, and I personally decided to cut my two -- HNSN or VASC-- down to only one. I went with VASC and as I should have known...HNSN soared and VASC tied a rock to their feet and jumped off the Sears Tower.

I will defer to others to make the call...
