No, (I think) that is Outbox Think day.

Sept 11th 1989.

It was a common practice in Eastern Europe to put one's heads inside a cardboard box to talk over subversive ideas with another person so the State Security apparatus would not detect their conversations. This was called thinking or planning (subtrefuge) inside the box. When the iron curtain collapsed they could dispense with that, and free thinking got the appelation thinking outside the box.

Living inside a box.

Sitting inside the box

Stealing inside the box.

If you can connect all the dots with 4 straight lines without lifting your pen, you are a 'cheater' normally. The ability to do these sort of thing successfully is not evidence of actual intelligence, but what is called a deviant or short-cutting mentality. They hire these sort of people to work on government projects so that they fail often enough to make maintenance and rebuilding a profitable enterprise and the designers can avoid blame. The idea is to be able to build in weaknesses that only show up when what the average person would call unforeseen, uncontrollable and exogenous effects cause premature failure. I give these tests to employees, and if they pass I fire them.
