Lane, your post brought much joy and laughter to a group of doctors this evening!!! There is a radiologist in my family, so I had her hook me up with a couple of docs and look at your post! After much laughing and a few choice epithets that I certainly won't print here to maintain decorum <ggg>, they were talking about offering you a position in the hope that you could replace their substantial staffs that do nothing but fight (oops, make that process) insurance claims that should be paid 'even when they read the policy'! These docs staff also often try to act as intermediaries with patients that have thrown up their hands at actually getting reimbursed. They also told me if you could do this you would also have a shot at becoming quite wealthy in replacing the entire fast growing industry of professionals that are hired by patients to do nothing but navigate the insurance maze and try to get their patients paid.
