My thought evolution. Went thru the point, when I first started seeing signs PO was close, was how difficult it would be for us (sons 32, 30, daughter 20 raising chickens from almost her birth, even Syracuse's father in law a former Nam green beret with a hide out ranch, which is no where near my fruit trees) to make it. Not even for protection, but just the lack of skills, and we have plenty between us. I felt an immense sense of relief when the area started talking (at least..see that rant of Todd's I linked), cuz having the support of a community is invaluable.
