"We presently rate 26th Globally in Math and 27th in Science, our academic accomplishments are nil..."

Now this is nonsense. To say our academic accomplishments are nil is simply a political statement.

Now - as far as our ratings in Math and Science - sadly we are two countries. One portion of the population thrives on education. Another part is either deprived of education or think education is not cool. Take out the bottom half and I suspect we do very very well.

Wanna bet where the cure for cancer or other diseases will come from?

The real challenge is how we bring education to the masses and overcome the insidious disease of teacher unions.

Chas,

I have the book on my Amazon Wish List. I'll get around to reading it some day.
