Yeah. Dunno where Ron Paul got the idea that Lincoln started the Civil War to free the slaves.

Yes, that's exactly what he is saying. He's saying Lincoln ended up keeping the country together but at what cost......this country has become like the couple who chose to stay together for the children instead of divorcing and whose fights make Virginia Woolf look like a bedtime story for children. In the last 150 years since the Civil War have we learned to get along......I am not sure we have.
