For the truly ignorant AKA neolib, 30 years ago is 1977, about the time I designed and installed a solar hot water heating system. I visited my old house about 5 years back.

And by the way This is one of the text books for my middler year course in thermodynamics. that was about 38 years ago. You can get it on ebay for `15 bucks.

30 years ago, Heat Transfer might well have been the name of a course taught to engineers. Today I suspect it will be called something like Engineering Thermodynamics.

No still a separate subject.
