The original plan was to make the playoffs and the Super Bowl a separate contest so as to give everyone a second chance at a first place finish. After the Super Bowl, I normally combine the results for both contests. FWIW, several year ago, when we had just one contest, I was one point ahead going into the Super Bowl. I made sure that I posted my pick before whoever was in the second place. We ended up in a tie. Edit: Did anyone tell you that Carolyn and Rudi are going to test this year's winner for steroids? :)
