what a revolting development ... I remember hearing this every week from Chester A. Riley (William Bendix) on The Life Of Riley on 1950s TV. The writers must've lifted if from Durante. :)

You have the same Qwest plan I have, 1000 anytime minutes. I have a very small Sanyo that I got from them in November of '06. I still have nearly a year to go on my current contract. The main reason I've stayed with Qwest is their feature of automatically forwarding my home phone to my cell whenever the cell is turned on. I never have to give my cell phone number to anyone as all they need to do is call my home number. I get good service from Qwest, but want to go with Comcast when this contract runs out. I can bundle with my cable TV, modem and phone and save quite a bit, If I'm to believe Comcast. I have also been told Comcast now is able to offer the forwarding feature. If that's true, I'll probably go that way. But, like you, I don't want to pay $200 to get out of my current contract.
