photon originating from the sun strike solid objects in a greenhouse and those photons that are not reflected cause the atoms in the solids to vibrate. That vibration is also described at temperature. The temperature of the solids is raised and the surface of the solids contacting the fluid know as air cause the molecules of the fluid air to vibrate and following thermodynamic laws and also the ideal gas law the temperature rises and the density of the fluid lowers. The less dense air rises in the denser air. That rising is convection and the stirring and mixing of the warmer air and cooler air is how a greenhouse is heated. That is how a greenhouse is heated by convection.
