No. As a percentage of all the taxes people pay it would be very small. And combined with a raise in the cap, it would solve the 'problem'.

But the midpoint keeps getting worse past 2040, and the high end is around 9.5% of our GDP.

And the low point is about where it is today. Fertility rates are going up and longevity may be flat or decrease. Immigration is a large part of the calculation. There are way to many variables....
