That's because you drifted off track in your response. The fact remains that you want all the bennies of our society without paying (taxes) for them. When you reduce taxes you either cut services or increase debt for the next generation to pay.

The phone system, much of medical care spending, a good part of the legal system, some roads, and most energy costs are in the private sector, and the extent that some of these things are handled by the private sector could easily be increased.

Not easily, and not without cost. With a massively collective system such as ours, everyone shares in the cost of infrastructure to make society efficient. And it works pretty well... not always perfect. The guys that don't want to pay their fair share for all the benefits they receive are the ones that are inflating our debt to the point that the next generation won't have nearly the prosperity that we enjoy.

Every dollar you don't pay today will be incrementally added, with interest, to your tax bill at some point in time.
