You could say that! Snowed all day Christmas, bright blue sky yesterday, then snow all day again today. Blizzard at times. Tomorrow is looking like clear skies and cold temps. I haven't been out of the house in two days... not even to get my mail, which is across the street. I pick up the paper in the morning but it's at the front door.

My son was gonna drive down from WY this morning but couldn't get out of Evanston more than 20 miles to the east. Good thing, as I don't need to worry about them being on I-80 in this weather.

Even with all the snow, I don't think I have more than about 8 inches on my deck. But, the drifts are 2 feet deep in places.

Not moi, but I do have the first paragraph of a recent CA case that I thought was hilarious:

Cautionary tales rarely have happy endings. From the 19th Century German classic, "The Dreadful Story of Pauline and the Matches," in which the fate of the child heroine can be deduced from the title, to the more familiar Thirties cult film, "Reefer Madness," the protagonist almost never does well in them. This case is no exception. We present here a cautionary tale, published, like all of its ilk, in the hope of providing a warning.

[Engle v. Copenbarger and Copenbarger (Nov. 2007)]

The subject matter was actually a bit dry, but the intro was a gem, imo.

Driving down to Portland we got Juneau like weather. I had forgotten that I had been used to it out of necessity, but that didn't stop me from disliking it again.
