When the get the PHEV/EV cars, batteries have to be replaced when they are still at 85% capacity. Plan being looked at in SF, is to put them in the basements of the highrises.Store XS power from? I know Pac Bell Park has a small system running. A long way from needing to store XS power, tho. Because it's only a small pct of our total, it just let's them slow water release, or power down other generators a bit. Or not fire some peakers up. We really don't have to deal with storage (unless you are off the grid, or you want to stay on when the grid is down for a day) until everything else is shut down but renewables/bios, which is at least 20 years away, which, in the eyes of almost every expert in the world is a minimum of 15 years on the other side of peak oil. And I fall into the group that thinks we peaked in '05.

" clean carbon dioxide?"

What's that?

Heat boiler plants?..generating plants? Working on focused
mirror/sterling engine/ steam generation in the desert.
