US wants energy independence and lower emissiions but is unwilling to do nukes, new refineries, offshore drilling for oil and gas etc. Last year we drove up food prices for ethanol and now in texas various groups of greenies fight it out with wind vs birds. If you are honest mike, i think you can say that a good point has been made by bob. Its not a know nothing view--its a realistic view that makes one wonder over the rants from wharfy or nadine as they take the CW approach of their particular ideology.

Yup - the French got that one right. I have read if we had the same percentages of nuke power we would actually meet Kyoto. So - there is an answer - not one loved by those who want the answer - unfortunately!
