TJ, I don't think shooting people in the back who are trying to escape to a better country prevents war. Neither does murdering Taiwanese who wish to be independent "prevent war".

The conflict in your ideology is your wish to prevent war by shooting in the back and murdering those who have already left versus your wish to not have borders, meaning, the Taiwanese are free to go and have indeed gone and the Tibetans also are free to go, without being shot in the back whether they have or have not got passports. Which is it? Free borders and the right to go anyway, with no passport, without let or hindrance, or bullets in the back. Prospective emigrants would surely like to know your intentions BEFORE they test what you actually do.

If Americans wish to stop Mexican invaders [individuals, not the state], they don't need a war with Mexico. Mexico need not shoot fleeing Mexicans in the back. The USA can simply declare open season on anyone approaching over a defined no-man's land. I'm sure the NRA could drum up a quorum of enthusiastic "well regulated militia" armed with the second amendment to handle the situation. <Amendment II (the Second Amendment) of the United States Constitution’s Bill of Rights declares a well-regulated militia as "being necessary to the security of a free State" and prohibits infringement of "the right of the people to keep and bear arms." >

If Americans want the Mexican invaders, they can let them in. If they don't they can shoot them. It's simple.
