Jewel, my old friend... Your words of wisdom, "become the change", have inspired me to do more for my granddaughter's world. I've resolved to get CC back to non-partisan. I've analyzed 2 years worth of algore, etc, and I think I at least have broken down the problem into its various components. All you flowery words or babble have no bearing on the reality of the evil preached by the cult of man created global warming. Lying about the causation of natural events to redirect resources that will clearly cause starvation and death by disease is a pure evil. Every resource should be used to spread truth and expose stupidity or dishonesty that is advancing such evil. That is compassion orders of magnitude above any PC speak to spare the feeling of liar or fools spreading ideas that kill their fellow man. Sadly the New Year will find no shortage of fools hell bent on the destruction of their brothers. I continue to speak what I believe is truth and expose stupidity, and lies as I see them. Who is the brute who knows no distinction between virtue and vice, good and evil? Who preaches the path, the course to starvation, disease and death of millions. CO2 absorbs all radiation available to it, that is to say all infrared of the few wavelengths it can absorb radiated from the earth heated by the sun withing the first ten meters of atmosphere, That heating is immediately averaged and shared by the other 999,600 part per million making them a tiny tiny bit lighter and adding a tiny tiny tiny bit to rising air currents that transport the heat up to where it eventually is radiated back into space. If you double the CO2 ppm then all available infrared radiation of the few wavelengths it can absorb will be absorbed in the first 5 meters. If one cannot comprehend the meaning and implications of the above then they are science ignoramus and not qualified to express an opinion on CO2 effects on climate change.
