There are so many lazy people, that as soon as someone spots one guy who's got what it takes immediately we zero in on him and pull him up.

I got a guy here who spotted a radio planning covering the wrong road stretch.

We are now covering the correct road, which is 60Km shorter. Have several cities along the way. Is not in the mountains...

As a result, we will get better coverage along the way which has more cars and buses and will used the spared base stations that can be deployed elsewhere and cover a couple of new cities in the region.

This guy just by taking this initiative has paid his salary for the next five years. I told CTO to keep an eye on him.

Another guy got the electrical utility to provide AC power extension free of charge. He will save easily USD 1/2 million in 2008. In total I’ve got three guys to get the company’s eyes on them to promote them to better jobs. If you don’t come from below, you are not able to spot those guys

"there is plenty of room for someone without skills to advance in this country if they are willing to work and learn and perhaps relocate out of a depressed area."

While I endorse that idea 100% ...
There is not room for everybody to do so, or even 30% of everybody to do so.

Simple proof: If everyone had a PHD then PHDs would be collecting garbage.
