I'm guessing NOT.

I'm not saying you (or your company) are this way, but in all the places I've worked...working hard gets you one reward....more work.
Management loves a hard working sucker...and works them until they quit.
They keep the average people as filler to keep things running...and abuse every "shining star" until pale/tired/sick...they leave. The last thing they want in the food chain is someone that makes them look bad.

Management always takes credit (and the rewards) for everything, though by the nature of "management", they rarely contribute anything of value.

I hope your company is not this stupid.
