Nadine, why is it you first accuse the scientific community then change your wording to scholastic community? what you said was the teaching establisment was wedded....... it was scientific reaserch with ever improving equipment that dragged the orthodox out of ignorance. fact is you got overly aggressive and said the first silly thing that came into your head....and now you have been forced to change wording. ps......i might add that even the new theory(back then) of heliocentrism was not correct....it was not the endall...mearly the beggining of a evolving view of the universe ...that gradual evolution that is still going on today.
