I think that's a great idea. My nephew is an excellent data point, just out of high school.

He lived with me for a while. Since he seemed really reluctant to get a job, and didn't want to go to school, I asked him how he was going to get a car, get a place to live, get a good music system and TV and then buy a house. He had some sort of vague idea that at some point in the future, those things would be provided for him!

All the older people he knew had them. He knew they disappeared for a long time every day, to do something called "work", but had no idea what it really was! When he found out, he was VERY disappointed, and felt deceived and cheated.
