For the same reason: Radiation. It would unfortunately lose more heat at night, so it would in fact not be the "same". It would differ from a glass greenhouse in about the same way as the earth differs if it didn't have an atmosphere and GHGs. My, what a surprise.

Paint a sheet metal floor black, and put a greenhouse around it. Paint a metal shed black. The difference between the two would depend mostly on the transmitance of the glass and the condutance of the metal and glass. Put a white cloth on the shed at night and it may actually be hotter. In both cases this is completly differant from the way the earth is warmed.
