WRT to GW, some people seem to have the view that as long as humans are not intending to do something (warm the planet up) we must not be able to. But if we do intend to do something (like mitigate warming the planet up), that is very bad. Wether we collectively ignore reality, or collectively address an issue, does not change the science behind it.
