nadine it would seem that your main obgection is to the approach to co2.......or am i wrong in believing your are ok with conservation and anti pollution measures and alternative energy supplies(solar in particular)?

I am certainly okay with factually-based approaches to combatting pollution or decrease dependency on Mideast oil. My problem with the GW hysteria is that such a hysteria does just the opposite of giving an "impetus" to any of these things. On the contrary, it will waste billions of dollars in a vain effort to combat a problem that we haven't even proven actually exists, and we cannot effectively combat even if it does exist. This kind of "impetus" will do nothing productive and much that is counter-productive.

Meantime, resources being finite, many real problems that are killing people by the millions here and now will go unadressed.
