well earmarks are reduced by 17% to just under 10,000 by the current congress compared to the prior GOP congress and would have been reduced more except for the almost 2,000 earmarks placed in legislation by the white House More progress is necessary but the direction is down instead of up as it had been

Anyone who believed that for an instant chose to ignore the history of the people making the claim. Don't forget that Pelosi tried to put a Member convicted of accepting bribes while he was a judge into a leadership position. Reid of course is one of the most corrupt politicians ever.

The Pelosi Reid recession is coming. It will most likely the next President to one term. A democrat controlled Congress raising taxes can worsen the their recession significantly. I put the chances of a democrat President being reelected in 2012 near zero.
