Knighty, balancing eicosanoids is more important than reducing salt in lowering blood pressure. pro-inflammatory eicosanoids promote vaso-constriction and anti-inflammatory eicosanoids promote vaso-dilation.

I could go on a whole lot more, but this is probably enough for now.

i lifted 145 lbs 8-6-4 for the first time yesterday. i'm adding 5 lbs and i'm tracking the number of days it takes me to be able to lift 150 lbs 8-6-4. i'm hoping for ~30 days. either way, it will be interesting to see how the data lays out.

if 30 days turns out to be accurate, i will beat my former best lifts of 225 lbs twice and 185 lbs 10 times in about 12-13 months. i'm looking forward to train a bit to set my personal best 440 time once my foot gets a bit better. i never looked forward to running in the past.

seven months ago i hadn't done any kind of exercise in 2.5 years and i hadn't done weight training in 18 years. i still have the nerve injury that sidelined me for 18 years, but i eat much better in the zone and it has held up so far. i will not work out unless my diet is right - period.
