I swear the people who work for 911 are hired for their stupidity. I was leaving Pensacola around 10:00 in the morning and this guy was walking in the middle of the highway, between the two sides carrying a bottle...I called 911 and explained the situation and told her the man was obviously drunk, he was staggering all around, but I didn't see a car any where. I was afraid the man would wander onto the interstate and be killed. The 911 dispatcher asked me to describe the man. I said he was the ONLY man walking around the middle of the I 10 who was drunk! He wouldn't be too hard to pick out... I then hung up, it was long distance for me and at the time, I was charged roaming charges. I thought I'd done enough of my good Samaritan act for the police..
