Shah Musharif--its time to think of leaving. If i understand some of the things you write the Sharif dude and a moderate islamic state with strong military remaining independent but generally outside politics might be a better soluton. Bhutto was an american invention to solve a muslim, south asian problem. We need to oppose al quaeda anywhere and everywhere with force when available but we need to separate out islamist who agree to a peaceful path. Even some of the taliban may be included and we must get over the fact that womens rights will come slowly and some of the things we witness might disturb us. But this is a better outcome than perpetual war as we try to force ourselves down the throats of islamists, mideasterners and south asians. This more or less where you are???
