If Bush had "sold out to the big HMO's and Pharmas", why wouldn't he want to expand a program they can benefit from - at least according to you.

He vetoed the SCHIP expansion bill because it was going to radically expand the program which was designed for the poor to provide benefits to the middle class. Just a step toward nationalizing all health care.
