I just installed Q08 and I can't locate the tab named summary. Is there anyway that you can combine the two files into one? Or, can you call Quicken tech support? They maybe able to assist you, however, they may charge for the support. In any event, it's worth a try.

this is the kind of feature, merging 2 securities into one, that quicken should offer since it is really just a merger of 2 companies and you may own both prior to the merger. You know what I mean?

In your case it was a technical glitch but combining 2 securities into one, for whatever reason should be something quicken offers.
