Killing Bin laden would mean the Democrats could declare both wars over and everyone should return home, under the present administration. The Republicans need him to be alive until October 2008. If they can kill him just before the election, they can keep fighting if they win, and the Democrats will be forced to end both wars if the Democrats win. That would allow Iran to win in Iraq, and become more dangerous, Pakistan to collapse and the Terrorists to get Nukes. 2012 will be a walk in the park for the Republican Candidate, as the Democrats would appear to have the blood of thousands on their incapable hands.
