(large)tax cuts for the rich, and greed-is-good mantra

Larges taxes for the rich are a better example of a "greed is good" attitude, with the greed being the greed of the government and special interest recipients of government money.

greed
: a selfish and excessive desire for more of something (as money) than is needed

merriam-webster.com

Keeping, or wanting to keep most of your own money isn't selfish or excessive. Taking large chunks of other people's income against their will is both.

If you think health care is expensive now, wait
until you see what it costs when it's free!
-P.J. O'Rourke

In general, the art of government consists of taking as much money
as possible from one party of the citizens to give to the other.
-Voltaire (1764)

No man's life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.
-Mark Twain (1866 )

Talk is cheap...except when Congress does it.

The government is like a baby's alimentary canal, with a happy
appetite at one end and no responsibility at the other.
-Ronald Reagan

I don't make jokes I just watch the government and report the facts.
-Will Rogers

I should brace myself for the usual unfettered capitalist movement comments that rarely deviates from supply-side voodoo economics, free-market (large)tax cuts for the rich, and greed-is-good mantra.

All of the things you mentioned are preferable to the fettered freedoms approach required to confiscate everyone's productivity for "the good of the collective". Your comment about voodoo economics come right out of a 1980's democrat talking point memo, those who have learned anything on the topic since then probably don't use voodoo talking points any more.

BTW did you notice that the rich's share of Income tax payments went up as a percentage as a result of the President Bush tax cuts? Talk about modern democrat voodoo talking points.

And for the record, greed is a powerful motivator. If it were not you would not be arguing so hard to use my money to finance your ideals.
