If you study the formula for the IRR calculations, you would see that the issues raised in your message are accounted for. Or, they should be accounted for unless there is a very unusual problem that I'm not aware of.

By taking monies out of your account, or putting monies into your accout, the IRR doesn't change. Enter your example in Quicken and see how the IRR behaves.
