What if at the end of Thursday, the three leading Democrats — former Senator John Edwards and Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama — are separated by a percentage point or two, leaving no one with the clear right of delivering a victory speech (or the burden of conceding)? A number of polls going into the final days have suggested that after all of this, the Democratic caucus on Thursday night could end up more or less a tie.

I thought that was the point......to drag this thing out as long as possible to see who really is the best candidate. No more picking losers to run for president. This long running exposure has been particularly damaging to the Republican side. Look at how disingenuous the GOP candidates appear after listening to their nonsense for several months. The only who looks about the same as when he started is McCain. And he only looks better by comparison.

For the Dems, I hope things remain fluid after IO and NH so that things are still up in the air by Super Tuesday. Let's face it.....this country is in so much trouble after 8 years of Bush, we need the best of the best to run it.....esp. whoever does the best under extreme pressure because that's what the next president will be facing.
