"Twilight of the Books"

I think it's coming. I'm not sure that it's a bad thing. TV is just such a much more immersive technology. With it's sound and images, it's much more powerful than reading.

What gets lost is imagination. How many times have you seen a movie adaption of a book you've read and been confronted with how it didn't live up to what you'd imagined?

I think reading and writing may revert to a priesthood. Someone is still going to have to write the scripts and directors will have to read them.

Twilight of the Books

Other than school books, I have not read a fictional book in ten years.
