I have used Quicken a long time.. It has it's quirks and Intuit support is less then what one would hope, still there are no real competitors out there. Although MS Money is cheaper, Quicken is better I think..

What I do is basically buy a version and stay with it until they say it will no longer be supported or upgrading is going to be an issue.. So basically you will have at least 3-5 years before you want to upgrade.. Quicktax of course you need to buy every year and I only get the basic version which costs about 39 bucks now a days so Quicken Suite is not a bad deal and they do package it with QuickTax Platinum.. You will get it between 89-99 range most likely..
