I think the economy of this new year will seal their doom for at least a decade. Yep. Of course it could screw the Dems in 2012 as well. It's been a LONG time since the last real, multiple year recession and I don't think these middle/upper middle class folks will take kindly to it. They seem to think a good job is their God given right as an American that's worked pretty hard... I don't think they understand that an economic flop is non-discriminatory and random with it's punishments.
